Not working with QuarkXPress
Before Adobe’s InDesign, QuarkXPress was the leading DTP software due to its fine controld of typography.
Quark’s lost its way when their CEO attempted to integrate their DTP offering with the web-based ventures of the company.
Around this time, Adobe bought out Aldus PageMaker and developed it to become InDesign. First iterations were problematic, but subsequent versions improved greatly with a focus on a greater control of typography than Quark could manage and a tight integration with other Adobe products.
Art has to move you and design does not, unless it's a good design for a bus.
